So it's a Friday night... a pretty mundane Friday night compared to what I was most likely doing five years ago. Let me tell you, it's a nice change of pace to listen to jazz music and eat french toast, and to talk to a good friend on the phone. I mean, compared to the activities I was probably engaging in five years (& many cools) ago. You might have found me chugging vodka and chasing it with whiskey, while inebriated onlookers shouted their encouragement: "Chug! Chug! Chug!" However, I wouldn't change a thing.
For my own amusement, I named my blog The Leaky Cauldron, in honour of the bar in the Harry Potter books. While it is an unoriginal name, I believe I have come a long way in the business of naming a blog/website. I am forced to recall my first website - the aptly named "Fuck Yo Couch." Ahh yes, I very well might have chosen that name surrounded by the same inebriated onlookers I mentioned earlier.
In the midst of my gourmet dinner and telephone conversation, my friend and I decided to create our own blogs. Hence, here I am writing my first, short & sweet blog. I titled it "Firewhiskey for Two" because honestly, You will probably be the only one to read this, but I'm rather enjoying the chance to do some writing again. And You're sure to enjoy the Firewhiskey, it's a great choice for a drink in the HP books. So sit back and relax - this round's on me.
